The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) today voted unanimously that imports of quartz surface products from India and Turkey materially injure the domestic industry producing these products. Today's vote concludes the final phase of the antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) investigation regarding quartz surface products from India and Turkey.
As a result of today's vote, the U.S. Department of Commerce will issue AD/CVD orders on quartz surface products from India and Turkey.
These investigations were initiated based upon petitions filed by Schagrin Associates on behalf of Cambria, a family-owned producer of natural stone surfaces located in Le Sueur, Minnesota.
